Today's ear X-tacy features a classic track or deep-cut from the Alternative era every weekday at 10:10.

Whammy! is the third studio album by the Athens, Georgia new wave band The B-52's. It was released on April 27, 1983, which happens to coincide with founding member Kate Pierson's birthday.

“Legal Tender” was the first single released from the album, and in honor of Kate’s 75th birthday, we’re making it today’s ear X-tacy!
