Billie Joe Armstrong covers John Lennon

Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong continues his run of Instagram cover songs with a particularly timely anthem.

Written and performed by John Lennon in 1971 and later covered by Billy Idol when he was with Generation X in 1978, Armstrong says his version "falls somewhere in between".
