Looking for a sweet, wiggly, playful younger dog who is no longer a puppy? Three-and-a-half-year-old Clifford may be just what you're looking for! At 45 pounds, Clifford may not be a Big Red Dog, but he is rated for all ages, so we think he may be a great family dog. Clifford originally came to the Kentucky Humane Society from an overcrowded rural shelter. He was adopted, but his family didn't have enough time to train him, so they returned him so we could find a permanent home for him. KHS has a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Prep class that starts tomorrow, Sept. 7.

Our 4-week CGC Prep class will help you put the final polish on your pup’s manners before you take the Canine Good Citizen test with an AKC approved CGC evaluator. Dogs that successfully complete the test will earn an AKC title and a certificate from the American Kennel Club acknowledging their achievement. This is a great step towards any advanced training goals, such as therapy work or agility, or just to validate that your dog is the smartest pooch on the block. Dogs attending must complete Manners for Life or equivalent training class before enrolling.
