Today at 3:30pm for The Paws Report:
Meet Yakey, a handsome, silly six-year-old Labrador Retriever mix. He came to the shelter because his owner could no longer take care of him. Being in the shelter is hard on Yakey, as he really misses being in a home. He adores everyone he meets and loves getting attention. Yakey knows how to sit and is good on a leash. He plays well with children of all ages. If you are looking for an older, good-natured dog, be sure to meet Yakey. Although he’s a little older, he still loves to run and play, but his favorite thing to do is hang out with his person. Yakey is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on all his shots. Meet him at the Kentucky Humane Society’s Main Campus, 241 Steedly Drive. Visit www.kyhumane.org or call 502-366-3355 for more information.
We will also discuss the Working Cats program. Lieh with Apocalypse Brew Works just adopted two Working Cats to keep mice away from the grains at the brewery. The Working Cats program finds homes for cats who don’t qualify for home adoption b/c of behavior issues. We find them suitable indoor/outdoor homes like horse barns, warehouses, and now breweries!
