Our star for The Paws Report at 3:30 pm today is Todd, a four-year-old beagle who came into the Kentucky Humane Society after a terrible car accident that left him with a broken pelvis and a diaphramatic hernia. X-rays also revealed that he had a bullet in his abdomen. Thanks to the Help Me Heal fund, KHS has able to save Todd, and we are happy to say that he’s on the mend and ready for adoption. His foster mom says that even though Todd will probably always have a bit of a wobbly gait, he is happy to trot around outside and has even chased a rabbit since his recovery! Todd is very good in a crate, attentive and easy to train. He gets along well with other dogs, big and small, and is happy to hang out with people, including small children. We suspect Todd is an escape artist, so he shouldn't be left in the yard unattended. However, he is quite happy to hang out in his crate until you have time to take him for a short walk. His foster mom can’t say enough good things about him and shared that all her neighbors and friends adore him because of his expressive eyes, quiet manner and resiliency. Todd is neutered, micro-shipped and up-to-date on his vaccinations. Visit www.kyhumane.org or call 502-366-3355 for more information.
