David Byrne has been anything but stagnant these past few years. After putting out a pretty great record with Brian Eno, and then touring the U.S. on his bicycle, he jumped into the studio with Fatboy Slim to do a concept album, who's concept is even a bit askew even for Byrne's standards. The whole theme is based around Imelda Marcos, who as Stereogum puts it, "is the shoe obsessed widow of the Phillapines former dictator," and every track is sang by someone different. The album Here Lies Love will be out Feb. 23rd and here is the first single with Santigold taking the lead, it's David Byrne and Fatboy Slim with Please Don't for The Daily Feed.
