The musical realm of lo-fi, dreamy punk rock still exists strong and vibrant in certain pockets of the indie world. Leading the charge these days is Los Angeles's No Age, who gained their biggest exposure with their 2008 Subpop debut, Nouns gaining them big reviews from everyone from Rolling Stone and Spin to Mojo who named them one of the top ten best new acts.
