I've always been a Paul Westerberg fan so its fun to sit and still watch bands getting compared to him and using him as an influence. But none have struck me as hard lately as the band Coast, and while they strike a strong resemblance to the 'Mats Man, they still totally hold their own in song-writing and performance. But if that type of thing doesn't do it for you, the rest of their new EP finds them trotting over several sounds - NME likens other tracks to Mercury Rev & Cold War Kids.
