Akron/Family are a trio from, ironically, Pennsylvania. They've been blogger favorites for the past couple of years, so it comes as no surprise that with the release of their newest single, the web has gone a-buzz. My Old Kentucky Blog calls them "dynamic avant-folk rock" and "kind of a living, breathing Xanax." Their new disc Set Em Wild hits stores May 5 and you can also see them at this years All Points West festival.
