Merge Records is turning 20 this year and they're celebrating this week with a compilation of non Merge artists covering their favorites from the label's own catalog. One of the earlier posted tracks comes from our favorite Portland-ites, that either changed your life a few years back or made you dislike Zach Braff even more. But however you feel about The Shins, when they make noise, the web community take note. And since they're currently between releases, this cover offers some relief to those waiting for the bands next output.
