Winners of the 2014 Classical 90.5 / PNC Wealth Management Young Artist Competition will showcase their talents on Wednesday, November 26, at noon. The performance at Louisville Public Media (619 S. Fourth Street) will be broadcast live on Classical 90.5-FM’s Lunchtime Classics. The 60 minute recital is free and open to the public on a first-come basis.
The $200 first place cash prize is awarded to Aemin Kim (age 16), who played the Prelude in G-sharp minor, op. 32, by Sergei Rachmaninoff. For the first time, judges have recognized outstanding achievement by one of the younger participants with the Junior Award given to Kennan King (age 9).
