91.9 WFPK Radio Louisville is proud to partner with the Kentucky Derby Festival to present the Wednesday Concert as part of the Kroger's Fest-a-Ville on the Waterfront. Concert will feature performances by Sam Roberts Band and LEAGUES on Wednesday, April 30 at 7:00 p.m. after the Great Steamboat Race.
Admission to the concert is free with 2014 Pegasus Pin.
Montreal's Sam Roberts Band will headline the Wednesday Concert. The band's fifth studio album "Lo Fantasy" dropped in February and one of the songs off the new record, "Broken Teeth," debuted at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. WFPK listeners have been rocking to several tracks from the album including "We're All In This Together" and "Shapeshifters."
They'll be joined by LEAGUES, returning to Louisville after a stellar performance at the first WFPK Waterfront Wednesday of the 2013 season. The Nashville trio has been gaining notoriety following their debut album "You Belong Here" with the WFPK hit song "Spotlight."
