HOLIDAY CHORAL FESTIVAL
Hear Louisville’s Finest Voices
Classical 90.5 presents the eighth annual Holiday Choral Festival on Sunday, December 2, at 3 p.m., at St. Martin of Tours.
The program will showcase the internationally acclaimed University of Louisville Cardinal Singers, directed by Kent Hatteberg, and the Louisville Vocal Project, a chamber ensemble specializing in a cappella music from the renaissance to the present, directed by Dr S. Timothy Glasscock. The concert will feature organist Philip Brisson and will be recorded for later broadcast on Classical 90.5.
“Each year we marvel at the beauty of these performances and the generosity of spirit which inspires these artists to share their talents in support of Classical 90.5,” said Donovan Reynolds, president of Louisville Public Media. Ticket sales will benefit Classical 90.5 WUOL.
Throughout the year, the community-owned and operated Classical 90.5-FM broadcasts classical music 24/7 and offers free public concerts in the Louisville Public Media performance studio. The non-profit public radio station also nurtures youth through the Young Artist Competition and Instrumental Partners, a program that places instruments in the hands of deserving youth in our public schools.
