WFPK's Woody’s Roadhouse Turns 10!

91.9 WFPK is celebrating 10 years of Woody’s Roadhouse on Friday, July 23rd at 9pm (8pm doors) at The Vernon Club. Woodrow on the Radio will be “spinnin’ wax for the insomniacs” in person at the club and live on WFPK beginning at 9pm. Woody will play host to some of his favorite Louisville bands and DJ’s; The Broken Spurs, The Ladybirds, King Sonic, DJ Matt Anthony of Sound Clash and DJ Ibuka of World Force Reggae.WFPK Program Director Stacy Owen had this to say in honor of Woody and his “Juke Joint of the Mind”, "It takes a special kind of guy to enthusiastically help us party through the night for 10 years! Woody has created a unique niche in the Louisville radio landscape and we're excited to celebrate this milestone with him."Woody’s Roadhouse airs every Friday and Saturday from midnight to 6am. To hear Woody tell it, “So you say you’re lookin’ for a place to go after hours on a Friday or Saturday night? Well, Woody’s Roadhouse is open all night and has a great jukebox to boot.
