There's a good chance that on Thursday you'll be surrounded by family and friends, some close and some not-so-close. Seated at a table of delicious Thanksgiving dishes, revelry and good conversation may ensue — or not. Either way, perhaps a cocktail will be in order.
If so, here's a suggestion for a drink to whip up before returning to endure Aunt Terri's political rant and Grandpa Gene's terrible jokes. It's called "Autumn Leaves" and Susie Hoyt of the Silver Dollar restaurant in Louisville recently showed WFPL News' J. Tyler Franklin how to make the cocktail.

Here's Hoyt's recipe:
Autumn Leaves
1.25 oz Wild Turkey 101 bourbon
.25 oz Carpano Antica
.5 oz Ramazzotti Amaro
1 dash of Angostura bitters
Stir ingredients in an old fashioned glass. Pour into another old fashioned glass over 3 ice cubes. Garnish with very light lemon oil.
