College Football: U of L Cards Beat Boston College, 38-19

Safety Gerod Holliman intercepted three passes to set up three Louisville scores Saturday night and the Cardinals beat Boston College 38-19.

Coming off last week's late loss to No. 2 Florida State, Louisville (7-3, 5-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) overcame early red zone struggles to pull away in the second half. DeVante Parker caught eight passes for 144 yards for his third straight 100-yard game since returning from a broken bone in his foot. Will Gardner completed 13 of 19 passes for 188 yards for the Cardinals, who had lost two of their last three games โ€” both to ranked teams. Jon Hilliman ran 17 times for 42 yards and two touchdowns for Boston College (6-4, 3-3). Tyler Murphy completed 7 of 15 passes for 149 yards, four interceptions and a touchdown, and was held to a season-low 41 yards rushing before being replaced for the final series by Darius Wade.
