Starting this week, members of the Jefferson County Board of Education are hosting community conversations across the district.
Parents and the public are invited to speak with school board members and discuss the Jefferson County Public Schools' plans for improving student achievement.Over the past few years there have been changes in math and English standards, new tactics used to respond to behavior problems, and a new accountability system that all schools across the state must adhere to.
