Louisville City FC sent the logo out Sunday evening via Twitter. The design is the winning submission in a fan contest theteam recently launched. Earlier this month, fanscriticized a logo shown at the announcement of the franchise's move from Orlando to Louisville in 2015.Louisville City FC got about 120 submissions. Here weresome concepts posted recently to Twitter.The winning designer is Michael Manning of New Albany.Manning will get a $500 stipend and game tickets. The winner will be recognized during the inaugural game and throughout the season on the teamβs program. The four finalists will all get a $150 stipend.Louisville City FC will play in the USL PRO, a pro league similar to AA minor league baseball. The team is relocating from Orlando, which will have a Major League Soccer team next year.
