Summer officially began Saturday morning. This week, even before the new season began, Louisvillian dealt with temperatures inthe 80s and 90s. To cool off, some residents—young ones, especially—took to the water features at Waterfront Park.

Kayden, 6, begins to walk down the steps of the water feature while looking back at her family for permission.

Litce Delacruz, 32, plays with the waterfall. She and her family came to the park with their dog to cool off in the 91 degree weather.
