Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear and Indiana Gov. Mike Pence are appearing on an education panel in New York City this afternoon to discuss public education at the state level.
The panel is part of NBC's 2013 Education Nation Summit. NBC news anchor Andrea Mitchell will moderate the panel, which will also include Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick. According to the agenda on educationnation.com this is what the panel will address: "Some of the most important education decisions-from funding to standards-are driven at the state level.
