Louisville record store Ear X-Tacy will re-open for two days later this month to liquidate merchandise. When Ear X-Tacy closed, it wasn't clear what would happen to the merchandise. Customers asked whether it could be returned to distributors or if it would be sold to a liquidation firm. But store management has sent out a notice saying the shop will sell off everything that's left on the weekend after Thanksgiving. This will also be the last time any gift cards can be redeemed at the store. There have also been a number of questions surrounding music that artists have consigned with the store. The statement says the merchandise will be given back, and pickup times can be arranged.A call for comment wasn't returned.
