McConnell Confused With Hendrix Drummer

During a White House briefing Wednesday, Press Secretary Jay Carney announced President Barack Obama had spoken with several congressional leaders about the ongoing debt ceiling negotiations, including U.S. Sen. Minority Leader Mitch Mitchell.Say what?Carney quickly corrected the gaffe, and said he meant Kentucky's senior Sen. Mitch McConnell but hilarity ensued for referencing the late drummer for guitarist Jimi Hendrix. And a few enterprising photo shop artists have taken advantage of the situation.From Mediaite:
