Mongiardo Camp Reverses Re-Canvass Request

by Stephanie CrosbySaying 'it's time to move forward', the Mongiardo campaign has reversed its original request for a re-canvass of voting machines used in yesterday's primary. The Lt. Governor says a re-canvass would 'delay the healing process' for his supporters. He lost yesterday's race for the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate by about 3,500 votes.Kentucky Public Radio's earlier story is here.
