by Stephanie CrosbyA boil water advisory for about one-thousand Louisville Water Company customers in south Louisville has been lifted. The advisory was issued yesterday for residents within the boundary streets of East Pages Lanes, St. Andrews Church Road and Third Street Road. The problem started when pressure levels dropped in two elevated storage tanks. The water company now says water in that area is safe to drink. Customers with automatic ice machines should allow the receptable to fill twice and discard the ice before using. Those with chilled water lines in the refrigerator door should let the water run for one minute before drinking it.
