A storm system expected to develop over the southern plains states has the attention of Louisville forecasters.Mike Callahan with the National Weather Service says the storm could end up dumping ten inches of snow over southern parts of Kentucky, and around five-to-six inches in central Kentucky.“We’re not looking for quite that much snow in the Louisville area, and as you go north the amounts will get light," says Callahan, "but it’s still really early. It’s possible this storm could stay way to our south and we end up with very little snow in the Louisville area at all.”Callahan says the storm is hard to predict because their computer models aren’t in agreement on the storm’s eventual path. He says if the storm reaches Louisville, it will be around late Thursday and all day Friday.
