The University of Louisville men’s basketball team is coming off two straight wins, and is preparing for Louisiana Lafayette tomorrow night.Coach Rick Pitino says his team suffered two home losses right before those wins and have improved defensively since then, especially against Western Kentucky.“I just think it was great intensity, great pressure on the basketball, we created a lot of turnovers, we really paid attention to the scouting report in terms of taking the other team out of what they do best," says Pitino. One snag is that sophomore Terrence Jennings has been suspended for the game, for a violation of team rules. The coach says he’d planned to give Jennings his first career start. The Cards meet Louisiana Lafayette Wednesday evening at Freedom Hall. They face Kentucky on January 2nd.
