Louisville teenager Kasey Uhlenhuth is a recipient of the Congressional Award Bronze Medal.The duPont Manual High School senior was presented the award today by Congressman John Yarmuth. She says to earn the medal, participants must complete community service, personal development, physical fitness and exploration.She says she earned the mandatory volunteer hours for the award at the Frazier International History Museum. Uhlenhuth says she hopes to attend Harvard, Yale or MIT next year.Around 65-hundred Congressional Awards have been handed out since 1979, when the program was established.
