Wikipedia Revolution
In eight years of operation, the free, open-source, online encyclopedia Wikipedia has become one of the most-visited sites on the internet. Wikipedia relies on the web's hive mind for all of its content. Anyone can edit Wikipedia, and the combined knowledge is nearly all-encompassing. For example, there's just as much information on Marge Simpson as there is Laura Bush. And all of that information is surprisingly accurate, says Andrew Lih. Orangutans
