From Kentucky Public Radio's Tony McVeighA Kentucky State Police sergeant has been drummed out of the corps on misconduct charges.A six-member Kentucky State Police Trial Board has found Sgt. Corey Buckner guilty of four violations of KSP standards of conduct. Called into question were his honesty, conformance to law and responsibility as a ranking officer.The trial board says the charges concerned misconduct involving officer training records at the Bowling Green post, where Buckner was assigned.The seven-year veteran’s dismissal from service is effective immediately. He may appeal the trial board’s verdict to Franklin Circuit Court.
