If you are a Louisville native (or really, if you've lived here for any amount of time), you've heard of Kosair Children's Hospital. Maybe you've been here long enough to hear it referred to as Kosair Crippled Children's Hospital. And many of us have been past the old building on Eastern Parkway. But have you ever stopped to wonder, what is it that they actually do for children? And why do we need a separate hospital just for kids?
