The outgoing University of Louisville Dean Robert Felner is at the center of a federal investigation into a possible misappropriation of $500,000 in grant money.Felner was to start as chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside next week. But his attorney says Felner has resigned the position because the investigation might create a perception problem in Wisconsin. Through his attorney, Felner has denied mishandling the funds.
