Former President Bill Clinton came to Louisville Thursday to campaign for his wife, presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. But the scheduled afternoon rally at Butler High School turned into an evening event. At 3:30 - when the former president was scheduled to speak - the Butler High School gym was mostly empty. His appearance was delayed without explanation; his plane left New York just a half-hour earlier.David Boulton was among about 150 people waiting to see the former Commander-in Chief. He was unhappy about the holdup.“It’s upsetting the way that they manage this," said Boulton. "It’s a reflection of the way they manage and that nobody else around here is telling us. I just asked one of the campaign people, ‘Any idea when this is going to go?’ ‘No, it’s not my job.’”This was Clinton’s first stop of the day in Kentucky. He was also scheduled to speak in Bardstown and Elizabethtown before visiting Western Kentucky Friday.
