In honor of her performance at the Aug. 26 edition of WFPK Waterfront Wednesday, we're premiering a brand new track from Maia Sharp’s upcoming record today. Around 11 a.m., John Timmons will play Nothing but the Radio. The song will then be available online tomorrow through iTunes.
Nothing but the Radio is the first single from Sharp's latest album, The Dash Between the Dates. It's her sixth solo record overall and the first from eOne. "It's not a concept album," Sharp says of the LP, "but I was trying to look at things with a wider-angle lens and bring more breadth to the songs without sacrificing the intimacy. Maybe that's the concept."
