Matthew Ryan recorded his latest album with a pretty hefty supporting cast, and it shows. Boxers features the work of Kevin Salem, The Gaslight Anthem’s Brian Fallon, Brian Bequette and Joe Magistro of Black Crowes fame. It's also the tiniest bit of a departure from recent records in that his 13th LP is an all-out rock and roll affair.
