Louisville and surrounding areas are under a winter weather advisory until 4 p.m.Jefferson County Public Schools has canceled all school district activities and all activities at JCPS facilities because of the weather scheduled for Saturday. As we noted Friday,the Saturday Academy has been canceled, too.Road crews have been out salting Saturday morning, the city and state said.Earlier: More snow is expected in the Louisville area, the National Weather Service said.The snow is expected to begin sometime after midnight and will last well into Saturday morning, the weather service said. One to three inches are possible; blowing snow may be an issue, too.The temperature is forecast to be a (relatively) warm to about 32 degrees on Saturday and in the low 40s on Sunday. But the temperatures are forecast to be back in the teens on Monday. And there's a chance for rain Sunday night and snow Monday. At this point, the high temperature on Tuesday is forecast to be 11 degrees.City and state road crews are prepared treat roads, officials said. Metro Louisville officials say they've exhausted the $1.4 million budgeted for snow removal, but their snow removal efforts will plow ahead uninterrupted nonetheless.
