Two competing gun rights organizations have made conflicting endorsements in Kentucky’s Fourth Congressional District Republican primary.The National Rifle Association has endorsed Alecia Webb-Edgington, while the less well-known National Association for Gun Rights is backing Thomas Massie.The NRA, in a statement, praised Webb-Edgington’s support of the Second Amendment as a state lawmaker.Webb-Edgington and Massie are considered two of the three frontrunners in the contest to replace retiring Congressman Geoff Davis. Boone County Judge Executive Gary Moore is the third.
