The University of Louisville football team fell to Pittsburgh 21-14 today in the Cards’ final home game of the season. The loss snapped U of L’s three game winning streak. The Cards drop to 5-5 overall and 3-2 in the Big East Conference with two road games remaining.The Kentucky Wildcats lost on the road at Vanderbilt 38-8. UK drops to 5-6 on the season and 1-5 in the Southeastern Conference. The Wildcats’ two final regular season games are at Georgia and at home against Tennessee.
Rick Howlett was midday host and the host of LPM's weekly talk show, "In Conversation." He was with LPM from 2001-2023 and held many different titles, including Morning Edition host, Assignment Editor and Interim News Director. He died in August 2023. Read a remembrance of Rick here.
