Dr. Larry Cook has stepped down as the chairman of the board of directors for Passport Health Plan.Passport manages Medicaid services for Jefferson and 15 surrounding counties. The Governor threatened to terminate Passport's nearly $800 million contract if the plan was not followed.Beshear also called for two executives named in the audit to leave Passport. They were fired this week.Passport's new interim board chair is William Wagner, who is the executive director of Family Health Centers Inc. The interim CEO is Mark Carter, who heads a Louisville-based accounting firm.
