Choreography: From Idea to Stage
When you watch a ballet production or a modern/contemporary dance production you might think, "how beautiful," or, "how creative," or, "how unique," but do you ever think, "how in the world did they think to make a dance out of this idea?" We did. From Greek mythology to American history to the nature of sleep, no subject seems to be off limits for choreographers. But how do they go from an idea, or historical event, to the stage?
