An ordinance will be introduced at Thursday's Louisville Metro Council meeting calling for the creation of an online searchable database of all city revenues and expenditures.Co-sponsor Ken Fleming says he and fellow Councilman Hal Heiner plan to launch the e-transparency website using their office discretionary funds, but it would eventually be taken over by a task force."That will consist of three individuals from the public, three individuals from the administrationand one council member to help facilitate and oversee and help this come to fruition," Flemingsaid. The mayor's office says the city's existing website already contains complete and user-friendly budget information but officials are willing to work with the council to enhance the service.
