Numerous ceremonies will be held across the area Tuesday to commemorate Veterans Day.The Kentucky Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Frankfort will be the site of a tribute to all of the state's veterans. Marty Pinkston with the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs says it's also the the memorial's 20th anniversary."It's among the most unique in the country and we have visitors from all over to see it, because of the amazing design that Mr. Helm Roberts came up with," Pinkston said.That design includes a sundial that casts a shadow over the names of fallen service members on the anniversary of their deaths.The service begins at 11am at the Kentucky Vietnam Veterans Memorial, which overlooks the state Capitol.(Photo from kyvietnammemorial.net.) ¼/p>
