Mayor Jerry Abramson traveled to New York City this week to meet with pharmaceutical and automotive companies he hopes to lure to Louisville. Spokesman Chris Poynter says the city is prepared to offer financial incentives to companies that decide to relocate. But no agreements have been made so far.“We don’t have any deals to announce per se, but we have really gone a long way in establishing good, strong relationships with these companies and also with some top editors in New York, that we hope will pay dividends down the road for our city," Poynter said.Poynter says the mayor also met with venture capital firms. And he spent time with editors at several major New York-based magazines he hopes will feature the city in upcoming issues.
