She came to the Kentucky Humane Society when a kind stranger found her abandoned at just three weeks old. Knowing Candy would need around the clock care, we sent her into a foster home where she was able to grow and socialize with other kittens her age. Now that she’s back at the shelter, she’s ready to find a family of her very own. Candy is a playful girl who loves attention, toys and spending time with her many friends here at the shelter. He came to the Kentucky Humane Society at just six weeks old when he was found inside the engine of a car. Luckily for Rider, he sustained no injuries during his travels and the lovely shelter staff sent him into a foster home where he was able to socialize and develop with other kittens. Now that he’s back at the shelter, Rider can’t wait to find a forever home! Rider may run around the house at all hours, climb your drapes, and knock things over, but that’s only because he’s full of energy and curiosity. KHS is currently out of wet cat food. We use wet cat food to help wean our kittens from their mother’s milk onto solid food so we are in need of donations.
