Rider & Candy: The Paws Report, July 19

Today on The Paws Report at 3:30:

Looking for a loving, social companion to keep you company? Meet Candy! Candy is a gorgeous, three-month-old Calico kitten looking for a forever home. She came to the Kentucky Humane Society when a kind stranger found her abandoned at just three weeks old. Knowing Candy would need around the clock care, we sent her into a foster home where she was able to grow and socialize with other kittens her age. Now that she’s back at the shelter, she’s ready to find a family of her very own. Candy is a playful girl who loves attention, toys and spending time with her many friends here at the shelter. Do you have what it takes to be this girl’s new best friend? Candy is spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Meet Candy at the Kentucky Humane Society’s Main Campus, 241 Steedly Drive, Louisville Ky 40214. Visit www.kyhumane.org to view all adoptable animals or call 502-366-3355 for more information.

Need a laugh after a hard day? A friendly face to help ease your troubles? Well then you must meet Rider! Rider is a three-month-old Tabby mix who will you keep you laughing all day long. He came to the Kentucky Humane Society at just six weeks old when he was found inside the engine of a car. Luckily for Rider, he sustained no injuries during his travels and the lovely shelter staff sent him into a foster home where he was able to socialize and develop with other kittens. Now that he’s back at the shelter, Rider can’t wait to find a forever home! Rider may run around the house at all hours, climb your drapes, and knock things over, but that’s only because he’s full of energy and curiosity. With love and patience, he’ll grow up to be a faithful feline and love you forever! Do you have the time and love for a cool cat like Rider? Rider is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on all vaccinations. Meet Rider at the Kentucky Humane Society’s Main Campus, 241 Steedly Drive, Louisville Ky 40214. Visit www.kyhumane.org to view all adoptable animals or call 502-366-3355 for more information.

KHS is currently out of wet cat food. We use wet cat food to help wean our kittens from their mother’s milk onto solid food so we are in need of donations. We’re also struggling to find fosters for the large number of kittens that have been turned in so please check out our Foster Care Program. Thanks.
