Thanksgiving Programming 2014

We’ve got a musical recipe for your Thanksgiving Day on 91.9 WFPK, as we re-broadcast some of our favorite Live Lunches of the year and more!

6-9am - Duke Meyer Listen for Alice's Restaurant in the 8am hour!

9-10am - Bob Dylan and the Band: The Complete Basement Tapes
In 1967, Bob Dylan got together with The Band in upstate New York. It took eight years for some of the music to come out officially, but in that time, the legend of The Basement Tapes grew. Listen for interviews with Garth Hudson and more with highlights from the full release of The Basement Tapes.

10am-Noon - American Routes: John Prine Special
Join us for a two-hour visit with John Prine as he walks us through his life--from urban Illinois backwards to Muhlenberg County, Kentucky--and catalog. For over 35 years, the singer and guitarist has written and performed songs which present a slightly off-kilter and darkly humorous look at working class America.
