The Flaming Lips have been anything but quiet since their last disc of spaced out masterpieces, 2006’s At War With The Mystics, so its amazing that they’ve had time not just to write and record a new album, but a double album. What some are calling their White Album. Titled, Embryonic, the 2 disc or 4 LP set has also packed in some big names for this grand adventure – most notably, Karen O from the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s and the hottest duo in drugged-out-dance, MGMT. That’s a recipe for success just by name dropping alone. The first taste comes from a teaser in the form of an EP that folks can grab by nabbing tickets to certain Lips shows and among the 5 track cd, 2 of them will be on the album, including this one, "Silver Trembling Hands" on The Daily Feed.
