DARE TO CARE FOOD BANK TO BENEFIT
Louisville’s favorite summer concert series is moving inside for the winter. The WFPK Waterfront Wednesday ® concert series is being reinvented for the colder climate as WFPK Winter Wednesday in collaboration with the Clifton Center.
The WFPK Winter Wednesday concerts will take place once a month, November through February, at the Clifton Center. The first concert will be on November 28, featuring Cory Chisel and the Wandering Sons and von Grey. More information is available here.
The concerts are free and open to the public. The Clifton Center is located at 2117 Payne Street Louisville, KY 40206. Doors open at 6:30pm. The music will start at approximately 7:30. Preferred seating is available to members of 91.9 WFPK and the Friends of the Clifton Center. Members will receive information via email to reserve their seats prior to the general public.
WFPK Winter Wednesday also continues WFPK’s long partnership with Yum! Brands Foundation to raise food for Dare to Care. Everyone in attendance is encouraged to bring canned goods and other non-perishable food items to be collected at the door.
Programming announcements will be made as future concert dates approach -- December 19, January 30, and February 27.
