The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet warns of slick spots on interstates and highways in the Louisville area Friday morning, when temperatures hit single digits a day after a foot or so of snow fell.
In Louisville, Metro Public Works crews were still plowing and salting Friday morning. Metro Public Works on Twitter said roads ranged from dry to covered in big sections of ice.
The temperature was 9 at 6 a.m.--but it's expected to hit 29 during the day Friday, according to the National Weather Service. It's also forecast to be sunny.
Jefferson County Public Schools and Jefferson County Catholic Schools were closed Friday.

- Clarksville Community Schools
- Greater Clark Schools
- West Clark Community Schools
- Bullitt County Public Schools
- Oldham County Schools
- Spencer County Schools
- Nelson County Schools
- Shelby County Public Schools
Also closed are:
- University of Louisville
- Jefferson Community & Technical College
Indiana University Southeast is on a two-hour delay.
