Waterfront Wednesday Canceled, Derby Festival Events Moved

Due to flooding and the forecast of inclement weather, WFPL's sister station WFPK has canceled it's first Waterfront Wednesday for 2011. This is the first time Waterfront Wednesday has been called off, but the station is considering alternative options for the show.The Derby Festival Chow Wagon has been moved to Witherspoon street because of flooding, and the Hole-In-One contest has been relocated to the driving range at Seneca Golf Course.Sarah Jaffe and Walk the Moon were slated to perform this Wednesday along with local band, The Deloreans. WFPK will have more information on the plans for Sarah Jaffe and Walk the Moon tomorrow.
