Tuesday Featured Artist: The Bright Light Social Hour

Austin,Texas rockers The Bright Light Social Hour are touring in support of their latest album "Space Is Still The Place".  Born out of a university art-rock collective, the band has evolved into an unabashedly wide-screen rock group, melding fist-up rock 'n' roll with muscular funk, soul, and psychedelia. 91.9 WFPK is very proud to be presenting them Wednesday, May 4 at the Kentucky Derby Festival’s Waterfront Jam on the Kroger Fest-a-Ville Great Stage. Louisville's own Vessel will open the show.We'll be spinning  tunes from The Bright Light Social Hour throughout the day in anticipation of the concert!
