The Importance of Play
"Red rover, red rover, send the office memo right over." Wait a minute. You haven’t heard that in your office lately? Then perhaps you're not playing enough. You wouldn't be alone; play is on the decline in homes, offices, and even schools around the world. Despite such trends, studies scattered across many scientific disciplines, including education, psychology, and evolutionary biology, uphold the importance of play at all stages of our human lives.
